Basketball Stars: Multiplayer

Compete in direct 1v1 basketball: one player attacks while the other defends, then the roles change.

During gameplay:

A defender who simply follows the ball carrier gives the attacker room to choose the moment of the shot. Staying in front changes that: the attacker has to beat your position before getting a clean look.

Steals are another timing decision. Going for one too early can leave the attacker past you; waiting until the ball is exposed gives you a better opportunity.

The game also rewards players who can recognise whether the possession is about to become a shot or a fake. Jumping immediately at every movement is an easy way to give the attacker control.
